The girls had a great start to the season with their close win over Lampeter Strasburg.  After falling behind in the first half of the meet, Penn Manor girls stepped up and finished strong culminating in a first (Senior Erica Shaub, Freshman Avery Groff, Sophomore Jalyn Clow, and Senior Anna Sugra) and third place finish (Sophomore Sophia Callier, Junior Kayla McCormick, Junior Allison Steele, and Sophomore Carli May)  in the final event, 400 freestyle relay to seal the win.  Junior Kailey Stoner received the Admiral Urban Swimmer of the meet award for her personal bests in the 100 breaststroke and 50 freestyle.  First place finishes include: 100 Butterfly: Sophomore Jalyn Clow (1:07.54), 100 Freestyle: Senior Anna Sugra (56.57), 500 Freestyle: Freshman Avery Groff (5:29.60), 100 Breaststroke: Senior Anna Sugra (1:12.51), 400 Freestyle Relay:  Senior Erica Shaub, Freshman Avery Groff, Sophomore Jalyn Clow, and Senior Anna Sugra (3:55.81).
