Girls: PM 86 Hemp 84

This meet was close the whole way through from start to finish.  After being edged out in key races in the first half, Penn Manor girls chipped away in the second half with winning 100 Freestyle (Senior Anna Sugra), 500 Freestyle (Freshman Avery Groff), and the 200 Freestyle Relay.  The momentum turned in favor of Penn Manor after a 1st and 3rd place finish in the 200 Freestyle relay giving them a 64-60 lead.  The girls split the 100 backstroke points and won the 100 breaststroke (Senior Anna Sugra) while picking up a 3rd and 5th place finish.  The girls just needed 2nd place in the 400 freestyle relay and just being outtouched, they achieved their goal finishing the meet with a win over Hempfield.

First place finishers: 200 Freestyle: Freshman Avery Groff (2:02.23), 100 Freestyle: Senior Anna Sugra (55.91), 500 Freestyle: Freshman Avery Groff (5:31.60), 200 Freestyle Relay: Junior Kailey Stoner, Senior Kelly Johnson, Junior Jordyn Kendig, Freshman Avery Groff (1:52.03), 100 Breaststroke: Senior Anna Sugra (1:11.82).
