Girls Freshman Field Hockey vs. Dallastown Area HS School

Last night the Comet field hockey team crossed the river to play Dallastown in a night game. The team dominated in both corners and shots. Caity McGough had a beautiful pass to Laura Strosser who sent the ball left of the cage for Tristan Groff to tip in for the goal. Despite strong defensive performances by Liz Cox, Chloe Perry, and Tristan Groff, the Comets gave up a goal for 1-1 tie. The JV team also dominated in the stats, coming out victorious with a 2-0 win. Maya Kirsch netted both goals and was assisted by Avery Bradburn. Hannah Knutsen and Riz Thatcher also pitched in for the strong offensive front. Come out and see the girls as they play Manheim Township at Comet field tomorrow!
