Girls Freshman Field Hockey vs. Warwick Senior HS School

The varsity Junior high field hockey team shut out it's toughest competition yesterday in Lititz. The girls beat Warwick 2-0 with a goal in each half. Liv Cox scored on a penalty stroke to put the Comets ahead just before the half. The Warriors fought back with two break aways but the Comet defense of Tristan Groff, Annie Bibus, Sammy Bowermaster, Chloe Perry, and Brooke Adams helped goalie Mia Jones shut them out. Laura Strosser and Isabelle Thatcher connected in the second half to up the lead to 2-0. The JV team gave a great effort but were shot out in a 2-0 loss. The field hockey team has home games both Monday and Tuesday at Comet Field. Come cheer them on!
