Assistant Junior High Wrestling Coach

Coach Deaver's largest passion in life is coaching & growing the sport of wrestling. Russell has coached wrestling for various age levels & ability groups for 10(+) years. He joined the Penn Manor Wrestling Program as a Lead Coach for the Elementary program in 2016, and currently serves as Treasurer & Lead Coach for the Penn Manor Wrestling Club. 

Coach Deaver was a 1999 graduate of Octorara High School and attended West Chester University from 1999-2002. In 2002, Russell enlisted into the Army as an infantrymen, where he served honorably from 2002-2008. He is a veteran of the Iraq War. 

Russell resides in Willow Street PA, with his wife Nicole and three children Blake, Bryce, & Bethany. He has the pleasure of coaching both of his sons who currently train & compete with the Penn Manor Wrestling Club. 

When Russell is not coaching wrestling, he enjoys weight lifting, hiking, hunting, reading, & spending quality time with his family.
