Assistant High School Coach Manion is a graduate of Charleroi High School where he played quarterback. He began his coaching career at his alma-mater as a Jr. High Head Coach for 3 seasons. After graduating college, Coach Manion moved to Lampeter-Strasburg in 1994 and coached there for 27 years. He worked his way up from volungteer assistant, to Jr. High Head Coach, to 23 years as the their Varsity Head Coach. Highlights during his time with the pioneers were winning the school’s first section and district titles as well as coaching in the 2010 PA East West Game and 2013 Big 33 game. Coach Manion teaches 6th grade at L-S and enjoys spending time with his wife Rachel and children, John, Jenna, and Megan. He is excited to be joining the Penn Manor coaching staff for the 2022 season.
