August Camp Days

August practices began with the heat.  Heat Acclimation was held for five days and it was held in the heat.  Special thanks to the parents who donated drinks and snacks.  At the conclusion of the week Greg Zanowiak, Ryan Mahoney, and Joel Stoner attended Media Day.

Following Heat Acclimation were the long 3-A-Day practices.  The kids worked hard and ate well.  The parents served lunch daily as the booster club catered the meals.

August Glow Dodge Ball

The team traveled down to Black Rock Retreat for a Glow Dodge Ball Event. The team wore special vest and the lights went out.  What fun on a hot summer night to enjoy social time as a team. special thanks to the Eachus family for organizing the event and having Pizza for the team.

Millersville Summer Camp

The team was active at the Millersville Summer Camp held in July.  The team participated in works outs daily with schools including: Warwick, Donegal, Spring Ford, Ephrata, Middletown, Cocalico, and Scranton Prep. Hard work begins in the summer, now let the season begin.  See "photos" section of this website for more photos of the Millersville Camp.

Tri County All Staff Game

Congratulations to the Tri County All Star Players.  Players included: Ben Wright, Casey McCollum, Evann Jones, and Paisun Harris.  Coaching the South Team were the Penn Manor Coaches.

 
 

Flag Football 2018

This year there were over 200 athletes playing flag football.  Flag football was held every Sunday in April, with the champion games held at Spring Fling.  Below are the winners of each level.

Bowling 2018

Special Thanks to Leisure Lanes for providing the Penn Manor Football community for a day of bowling. 30 high school players participated, as well as 30 youth players and family members. Thank you all for your participation.

 
 

Lift A Thon

The team did well participating in the 3rd Annual Lift A Thon to support the Four Diamonds on February 1, 2018. The team lifted in honor of 3 year old McKenna who is beting treated for cancer currently at the Hershey Medical Center. The team raised over $2000. The lifters included Stephen Albright 400 reps, Aaron Gale 326 reps, Logan Legenstein 231 reps, Zach Banta 195 reps, Liam Hart 193 reps, Aaron Yoder 182 reps, Hunter Huffman 182 reps, Josh Gibson 168 reps, Joel Stoner 165 reps, Issac Hostetter 162 reps, Greg Zanowiak 115 reps, Gage Hilton 110 reps, Jared Musser 110 reps, Keaton Eachus 107 reps, Derek Reinmiller 102 reps, Chad Buffenmyer 93 reps, and Ryan Mahoney, Lyle Muurr, Nate Weaver, Elliot Lawarence, Issac Stoltzfus, Nick Mann, JD Robinson, and Jiel Echavarria. Great Job Team.

January Work Outs

The team has begun working out in the weight room on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays. Several team members have also begun to work out with speed training. Coach Chas Alecxih, and past Coach Mike Burke worked out with several players helping to prepare them for the new 2018 season.

 
 

Bill Beck Tail Gate

The year the Bill Beck Tail Gate Party was held on January 27th. There were over 75 participants. The evening was filled with, fun, socializing, corn hole tournament, prizes, and food.

Special thanks to Kellie Eachus for organizing the event. Many other boosters were also very helpful in donating items for raffle, food, and set up for the event. We would also like to thank the Kellers for preparing the pork, and the Garbers for organizing the corn hole event. The above photo is a picture of the winners.
