Assistant Coach Jon Boxleitner: Jon Boxleitner played high school football at Lampeter-Strasburg (Class of ‘83) under former Penn Manor superintendent Don Stewart, and college ball at Millersville (Class of ‘92) under College Football Hall of Fame coach Gene Carpenter. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps under commander-in-chief Ronald Reagan. He also holds a master’s degree from Virginia Tech (Class of ‘08). His roll with the Comets is at the junior high level coaching the running backs, linebackers and special teams. He has been a social studies teacher at Penn Manor since 1996. He is also the Mock Trial team advisor and the public address announcer for the Penn Manor baseball “boys of spring.”
