Boys Varsity Football
Biography:
John Brubaker has been coaching football since 1988. Coach Brubaker is a native Lancaster Countian who graduated from Manheim Central High School in 1983 as a football and track all star. Coach Brubaker set high school track and football records one of which is still in place: Most Carries in a Single Season. Brubaker was a running back completing two 1000 yard seasons, and was a Big 33 Player.
After high school Brubaker attended and played football for Millersville University earning his degree and Masters Equivalency in Technology Education. After college Brubaker taught and coached 28 years at Manheim Central as a football coach and 14 years as a head track coach. While at Manheim Central, Brubaker was the head JV coach, and the varsity defensive coordinator. At Manheim he assisted in coaching the team to 15 District III championships, 1 state title, and 2 state title runner up. Brubaker coached in the North South All Star game in 2002, 2013, and 2018. He has been vice president and president of the Quarter Back Club, Director of Speed Training camps, youth camps, and flag football camps. Coach Brubaker has been recognized for years of service, and presented coaching classes at several different coaches conferences. In 2012, Coach Brubaker was inducted into the Manheim Central Hall of Fame.
Coach Brubaker began at Penn Manor in 2015 as the Head Football Coach and Technology Education Teacher. He is currently retired from teaching as of 2022. He is the 10th coach for Penn Manor High School and is working hard to connect and build the programs from the youth program to the high school program. Since 2015, Coach Brubaker initiated a flag football program for over 250 youth, and initiated a youth summer camp to help promote football. At the high school level coach Brubaker stresses character development, work ethic, accountability, and shares his passion for football.
Outside of football Coach Brubaker values family, faith, and community. John Brubaker is married to his wife Janna. Together they have two grown children Joe and Aaron, and grandsons AJ, Peter, and Wyatt. Besides football, Coach enjoys kayaking, snowmobiling, and riding four wheelers at his cabin in Center County. He is a member of LCBC and attends the Manheim campus.
Quintin Owens.
Defensive Coordinator
Biography:
Coach Quintin Owens is a 2001 graduate of Reading High School where he played full back, tight end, linebacker and safety. After 4 consecutive winning seasons, district championships, and a state playoff run, Owens went on to play free safety at Millersville University (class of 2005).
Coach Owens has been coaching both Junior High and High school football for 10 years. He loves the game of football and is even more passionate about supporting the student athletes on and off the field. Coach Owens is a School Counselor at McCaskey High School.
When he isn’t coaching, he enjoys spending time with his family; his wife Kristina and daughters Naima, Wanda, Keira and Jazleen. He also enjoys working out, watching football (Go Birds) and spending time with friends and family.
Coach Owens joined the Penn Manor coaching staff in 2023 and encouraging the players to become the best versions of themselves. Coach Owens also took over as Defensive Coordinator in 2024.

Biography:
Justin is a graduate of Upper Dublin High School in Montgomery County where he lettered in Football, Track, Swimming, and Volleyball. He was the starting QB and captain of his high school football team. He was recruited to Shippensburg University and spent his freshman year there before transferring to Millersville University where he played for another two seasons. Since 2014 he has spent a number of seasons coaching football in the School District of Lancaster. Justin joined the penn Manor Coaching Staff in 2024 where he will be the Offensive Coordinator and Quarter Back Coach. Justin currently lives in Neffsville with his wife, two kids, and their crazy mutt Luna. In his free time he enjoys fishing, spending time with my family, and cheering for the Phillies and Eagles. Jamaal Millisock Sr.

Biography:
Jamaal Millisock Sr., known to the team as “Coach Socks” for his vast collection of socks that he displays throughout the season.. He has been with PM since 2021. He joined the team after a successful career playing semi pro football with the Lancaster County Cyclones where he won a Championship as an offensive lineman. Coach Socks is an Army Veteran and was also raised as an Air Force military brat. He grew up moving from Air base to Air base but claims Aviano, Italy as his home. He was lucky to play and win a European DoDDs Football Championship while in Italy. Like all of our coaches he brings a Championship experience and mentality to pass down to our student athletes. He attended college, where he studied Juvenile Justice. After traveling he finally made it back to Lancaster County with is two children Jamaal Jr (J.J.), and Jasmine. He resides in Penn Manor school district with his fiancé Melissa and his two children. He is so proud of his soon to be blended family of 6 kids and 5 grandgirls. He is a proud volunteer fire fighter at West Willow. He is still fighting a very aggressive form of gastric diffuse cancer that required a full stomach removal. His energy and camaraderie with the staff, team, and community can’t be missed.
Chris Tongel.
Assistant Coach Defensive Line
Biography:
Christopher Tongel enters his first season with the Penn Manor Football coaching staff, working with the offensive line. Coach Tongel is a 2014 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, having competed in football, wrestling, and lacrosse. He attended Elizabethtown College and played lacrosse, earning recognition on the Landmark Conference Honor Roll. Team achievements included multiple Landmark Conference championships and NCAA tournament bids. Coach Tongel enjoys working as a member of the Academic Support Team at Pequea Elementary School within the Penn Manor District. He enjoys sporting a goofy or silly necktie each day for the students he works with. He is also proud to serve as a volunteer Hunter-Trapper Educator for the Pennsylvania Game Commission. Coach Tongel is a contributing writer for 717 Sports, a local sports media company. He lives in Willow Street with his wife, Brianna, and daughter, Paisley. In his free time he enjoys exploring and engaging in outdoor activities with his wife, including archery hunting, fishing, and camping. Coach Tongel is excited to joins the Comets staff!

Biography:
Assistant High School Coach Mike Crawley is from North Philadelphia and graduated from Jules E. Mastbaum AVTS in 2002, where he played as a Defensive End and Offensive Tackle for four years. His high school success led to being recruited by Millersville University to play Defensive End. For the past eight years, he has dedicated himself to coaching football, from little league through junior high. Coach Crawley is passionate about the life lessons football imparts and enjoys mentoring student-athletes to help them reach their full potential. In addition to coaching, Coach Crawley is a professional Realtor. He cherishes moments with his family: his wife Amanda, his sons Terrell and Marcus, and their American Bulldog, Tank. He enjoys watching anything sports-related, but his love for football supersedes all. He is a lifelong Detroit Lions fan.
Riley Good.

Assistant High School Coach Riley Good: Coach Good graduated in 2019 from Hempfield high school. He played both offensive tackle and defensive end and then attended the University of Shippensburg graduating in 2023. He was a Defensive Tackle as a 4 year member of the football program. Coach Good coached the defensive line in 2023 at Hempfield but now moves onto Penn Manor as a defensive line coach in 2024. Currently Coach Good will be teaching mathematics at Penn Manor High School. He love having students in the classroom and players on the field. He will be advising of the lineman club at the high school. Coach Good currently lives in Landisville with my Boxers Ozzie and Dexter. Outside of football I enjoy spending time with friends and family and traveling to new places, and golfing (despite not being very good). Very excited to be apart of the coaching and Penn manor community.

Kelly McNeal.

Biography:
Athletic Trainer Kelly NcNeal camp to Penn Manor in 2019. She is a previous graduate of Penn Manor. She attended West Chester University for her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training. Before coming to Penn Manor, Kelly worked at Concord University in West Virginia with their men's soccer and softball teams. She finished her Master's degree in Health Promotion from Concord University. Trainer Kelly is married to her husband, Brandon and they have one dog, Leo. When she isn't working, she enjoys being outdoors traveling, hiking, fishing, and boating.

Coach Barry Groff: Coach Groff has been coaching since 1997, and has been with Penn Manor since 2007. Coach Groff graduated from Manheim Central in 1987 where he was a 3-year letterman, Co-Captain, and all-league offense and defensive Tackle. Groff continued his education at Millersville University and played four more years of collegiate football. Groff's coaching experience started at Manheim Central. Then made stops at Broadway High School in Virginia, and Solanco. While at Broadway HS he helped coach the 1998 team to a state championship. Coach Groff is currently teaching Applied Engineering & Technology at Penn Manor High School. He resides in Millersville with his wife Kim, and has two children Cortney and Kyle.
